Grand Prairie, TX (January 29th, 2020) – Bring your gal pals for a night of painting, wine, and an unbelievable time at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Grand Prairie on Thursday, February 13^th, 2020 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at 601 E. Palace Pkwy.

Are you searching for fun and unique Valentine’s event? How about an excuse to drink wine with your friends? Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Grand Prairie is hosting an evening of art, hors d’oeuvres, and time to explore all five attractions the day before Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 13^th. All guests must purchase a ticket online to ensure a spot.

Single ticket: $29.99 (+tax)

Two tickets: $49.99 (+tax)

A ticket to the event will include:

One-hour painting class
Two drink vouchers (must be 21+ for alcohol)
Hors d’oeuvres
Access to all five Ripley’s attractions (Total value $37)

The painting will start at 7 p.m. After the painting workshop, guests can explore and enjoy the other FIVE awesome Ripley’s attractions until 10:00 pm. Seating is limited – so don’t wait!

Santa Claus is Coming to Grand Prairie for “Christmas at the Palace”

Breakfast with Santa Includes Photos, Crafts and Unlimited Weirdness

Grand Prairie, TX (November 15, 2019) – Santa Claus has packed his sleigh and charted a course to Grand Prairie for two fun-filled mornings of merriment, breakfast, and all the strange but true adventures that can only be found at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Grand Prairie!

On December 14th and 21st, Santa will visit with families over a warm breakfast buffet and lead the fun with crafts, cookie decorating, and of course, the opportunity to share holiday wish lists!

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Grand Prairie to Host Trashy Fashion Show

Fashion Designers, Students, Artists, and Creatives of all types are invited to compete!

Grand Prairie, TX (July 24, 2019) – After a successful Texas launch in 2018, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Grand Prairie has announced that the popular “Ripley’s Trashy Fashion Show” will return in 2019, and the search for contestants is on.

While the world’s top designers showcase their new lines during New York’s famous Fashion Week (September 5 – 13, 2019), budding designers in the Dallas – Ft. Worth area will take the stage displaying their talent by transforming everyday items into wearable art.

Previous contestants have used newspaper, shower curtains, coffee filters, and even paintbrushes to create their original, wearable garment. All winners will become a “Ripley’s Feature,” and appear on Ripley’s social media and popular blog.

PRIZES

Grand Prize Winner: $1,000
First Runner-Up: $500
Second Runner-Up: $250
All contestants will also receive a Ripley’s swag bag

Last year’s Grand Prairie winner, Ikkendra Oliobo, created a party dress from silver Diet Pepsi cans, muslin fabric, eyelets, plastic, glue, and shoelaces. First runner-up, Stephanie Salas designed a mermaid-style dress made out of black construction bags detailed with rope, CD/DVD pieces, plastic grocery bags, and bottle caps.

Contestants must register by August 30, 2019, and plan to attend a dress rehearsal before hitting the runway on Saturday, September 7. Registration, contest rules, and more information can be found at Ripleys.com/GrandPrairie/Fashion.
